Does anyone have any tips at all on killing a sentry gun? Is there one game mode where you see them much more often than others?

In the hundred games or whatever i've played I've seen the opposing team have it once! I've needed to kill one for ghost pro for over 30 games and just never even had an chance.

One easy way is to equip the sentry gun killstreak and when you get it in game, throw it towards the enemy so they steal it. I haven't done this, but I've heard of others that have.

Hmm...that is very very interesting...

As long as they dont have hardline pro anyway!! ha. that would suck.

I thought SR-71 circumvented Ghost...either that or everyone on the other team suddenly switched to a non-Ghost class.

In my experience very few people are running Ghost which means I can put a _lot_ of faith in my UAV. Every once in awhile I'm surprised by a fellow ghost but it's pretty rare.

I guess people don't realize that SAM turrets count and are quite abundant

so you can use hardline pro to upgrade sam turrets and sentry drops? no effing way, that is ridiculous. If this is true then pretty soon we're going to see a lot of abuse once all the kiddies get hardline pro.

I laughed my ass off when I tried that. I got a Chopper Gunner, Attack Dogs, and Gunship all at once.

Needless to say, I owned that round.

You don't always get that lucky though. Most of the time I get an RC-XD, spyplane, or another sam turret.

I also find it weird that there are not that many ghosts. Every team Ive been on, the spy plane has been up pretty much constantly. I use ghost all the time. I should work on hardline pro though.

They need to nerf it, not saying that they will but at this rate the only two Perk 1's anyone is going to run will he Hardline and Ghost...

Finished the campaign this morning, overall pretty good, I'd say quality-wise it's right between CoD 4's and MW2's.

I didn't get to play last night but I heard they pushed a patch that fixed all the lobby/party errors. I was by myself this morning so I didn't get to test this but it looked like the games were repopulating after people left, so that's a really good sign. That was by far the biggest issue with the game.

Also, I discovered one of the smartest settings in the game. For those of you who, like me, play MP 99% of the time if you go to Multiplayer and then Settings there's an option to default to MP mode, so as soon as you load the game up you're in the MP section. I know I'll play a good bit of zombies and I'll probably go through the campaign again at some point, but I went ahead and did it.

Yep, Good game last night, although I did have an epic bad game with a piss poor 0.21 KD to start off. Rounded it off with some resounding victories and 2.0+ KDs shortly after.

Any time you're on, invite me and I'll steal packages all day!

I know I'll play a good bit of zombies and I'll probably go through the campaign again at some point, but I went ahead and did it.

The best part about that setting that I discovered after enabling it over the weekend is that it doesn't even bother with the opening cinematic that you have to skip. With the game installed on my "S" console, I can launch the game from the dash, wait about 10 seconds, and I'm put directly at the main multiplayer screen. Very nice. :thumbsup:

Yeah, its gotta be nerfed.

Re-rolling a care package is pretty powerful on its own.
Having the tables shifted to give you a higher chance of better killstreak on the second roll is REALLY powerful.
Being able to do it for three packages at 3,4 and 5 kills is absolutely ridiculous.

I normally have a decent 1.5ish K/D. When I'm running hardline pro w/ sam, cp and sentry, and rerolling everything, I played 5 games in a row with a 3-5 k/d. I got a chopper gunner three matches in a row. Its bananas.

They still got a lot of stuff to patch, a lot of things to rebalance...time will tell if theyre responsive enough to do it, or if theyre just going to not bother unless its completely game-breaking like they did with MW2. Until them, hardline pro all the way.

Where did you hear this? I've not seen mention of it anywhere but your post. I would LOVE for them to have fixed the party/matchmaking problems. Client side or server side patch?

They shut down the servers for "maintainence" last night and that was the rumor, as I said though I haven't played with a group so I can't comment. Either way though the game was definitely repopulating the match when people left, something that rarely happened before hand.

Same here...they need to fix this asap. Never had this problem in mw2.

I think it is safe to say that the Party system is absolutely busted.

I think we were only able to get into one game last night as a group. Just sad.

I unlocked Hardline Pro last night. I got lucky and it only took me three games to get it which was awesome. I used it all night and kicked some ass. I probably had more care packages in one night than the previous week combined. I'm sure it was because I was playing it slower/safer cause I wanted to see what I could re-roll

Exactly, it has GOT to be #1 on their "to do" list, I just wish it was fixed now...it's awful.

At least Zombies works fine.
