Woot, Amazon already got my Reach credit to me, pre-ordered Black Ops and having talked to the Amazon rep I'll be getting $20 credit for it as well. What to apply it to though...

Since they're (supposedly) crediting my account instantly (tomorrow I think) I should have ordered BO before I got any credit, cancelled it, and re-ordered it using both the Reach credit and it's own credit...oh well.

The only reason I pre-ordered it then is because of their supposed "pricing error" when it was showing up $49.99. My goal was to order it, update with the Reach credit and only pay $30 shipped...unfortunately A) they cancelled it and B) you can't update payment to include promo credit

Zombie Mode confirmed now.

Looks like a Russian Cold War experiment on Nazi Zombies from World at War gone wrong.

Treyarch boss Mark Lamia told Edge magazine that they are working on evolving the zombie mode.

&#8220;We continued to evolve [Nazi Zombies] after World At War &#8211; there was a dialogue going on with some of our hardcore community, and we were able to interact with the community and evolve &#8211; we did that with our zombie lore.&#8221;

Ya know, I didn't play much W@W but Zombies was (to me) the one redeeming quality. I've heard there's a whole plot that goes along with the game mode but I never figured it out. So this is a continuation of that plot?

Looks that way. Like Treyarch is trying to create a whole mythology around it by having the Cold War era Russians take Nazi Zombies and secretly experiment on them until the inevitable day when the zombies escape.

No, Zombie mode is listed in one achievement, and dead ops is listed in too. Speculation is that is it either a spec ops type mission game with zombies, and some people have claimed that it is a mode where you access an arcade type terminal and play a mini-game in the game. Either way, it's another mode. I am hoping for a spec ops type zombie mode with 4 player co-op.

Pentagon thief? Stealing your loadout? That doesnt sound like a zombie to me, and its definitely not part of standard MP. Either there's another coop mode we're not being told about yet, or these zombies got really interesting.

Shot by a what bolt? No zombies I know shoot back at you. Pack-a-Punched bolt sounds very whimsical....they went a bit off the deep end with the expansion to WaW zombies, so it seems like theyre not taking it too seriously?

There's no mention of "Dead Ops" alone, just "Dead Ops arcade" - sounds like it could be a game room style arcade within the zombie mode, hence the dead part. Similar to "the lost viking" in SC2 or the arcade games in GTA. Also, notice the word enemies rather than zombies.

Perhaps there's some sort of hub world, or a separate menu selection? Wouldnt make sense to be playing arcade games in the middle of a standard zombie game.

I can't wait for this game to come out. I am really surprised and to be honest I must say I really doubted treyarch on this. Seems to me tho this game is gonna kick ass. The theatre mode is gonna make youtube videos like no ones business. Zombies will be kick ass, I hope they make a good campaign

MW2 got old quick. I'm enjoying BC2 much more. I still might try Black Ops though.

same...played MW2 for a few months...got BC2 and fell in love with it. Its definitely fun when youre on a team with your friend and you drive the vehicles together too. still though..even though my friend and I ended up selling our MW2 games we're both considering getting Black Ops at least to give it a shot.

I was on the fence about this game, and I have decided to just buy Medal of Honor and I will gamefly Black Ops. I was never impressed with the MP on MW2, so I figure going the gamefly route is the best idea.
