Gonna try to get a TDM AT party going on tonight on PS3, who's up for a few rounds? Hit me up with a reply and the best time to get together, give me your PSN also if i haven't added you yet.
This is exactly how I feel about it. It doesn't hold a candle to gears' horde mode.
I also gave Zombies a try last night...and i just don't get it. I think I'm missing something. My buddy and I never made it past wave 5 with the dogs. They are tough. But more than that I just kept feeling like I didn't "get" it. Everyone says its a lot of fun, but for me i just felt confused. What is the strategy? Why is it that I sometimes go down after just one hit? Why can i aim right at their heads and shoot five rounds into their face and not get a "headshot"?
Can anyone provide some help on the zombie mode?

The worst part of the game so far has been the spawn system. It is nowhere near as good as MW2. I can't tell you how many times i've either spawned right in front of a baddie, or they spawn one right behind me. Its gotta be a bug or messed up because i dont see how they meant it to be that way.
I wish people didn't like repeating nuketown over and over and over and over again. That gets annoying. Its a fun level for every once in a while, but I didn't buy CO NUKETOWN[/quote[
hate that map and you are right it gets stuck in peoples mind. All it is is a nade fest. Played it 4 time sin a row with friends last night an di hate that map.
Instead of noob tubes everyone just lobs grenades and puts claymores all over >.<
The only maps I've noticed really bad spawning in is Cracked and Summit. Somebody always spawns behind me in those maps.
I've kind of fallen in love with claymores. Sometimes they are useless, I've noticed a few times where an enemy just runs right over them, even in the killcam I saw it on the ground and it never even blew up. I generally don't put on behind me and hide, but I'm learning where the best place is to put one and it usually gets me a kill if I just leave it there and run away.

I like claymores to. I plant it randomly, and get free kills with it all the time.
Okay, in love with the FAMAS... as evident by the 1.70 ratio I just pulled.
Seriously? Nuketown spawns are awful. Or maybe the map is just awful.
I actually like the Galil, but will have to try out the Famas based on your enthusiasm.
Speaking of free kills, I played Nuketown last night and thought I would put claymores down every time I spawned. I would walk forward like 2-3 steps, turn around and plant. Then we'd assault the enemy base and once that was cleared, obviously they will respawn back at our original base. Most people just start running/moving straight as soon as they spawn so......
I think I got 3 spawn kills with the claymores It was quite funny.

I found this video on youtube of one of the spawn issues in Black Ops. I think the spawns have issues at times, but overall I don't have any problems. the video is pretty funny though.

To put the 1.70 into perspective... my average ratio at this point is about 0.45. The 1.70 came from the FAMAS on iron sights. Definitely a happy camper now.
Yeah the FAMAS has been the gun I'm most comfortable with. Been trying to use the AK74 though, with a suppressor. At the end of my MW2 career I would go around the map with a suppressor and rock the house because people didn't notice the green dots disappearing behind them. And I use ninja, which requires the use of suppressor to get pro.
Right now my perks are hardline, steady aim, and ninja. I don't see myself switching hardline ever, steady aim is pretty solid, ninja I could switch with almost anything in perk 3. I just might unlock pro for everything and see what I like.
It honestly isn't that bad if you know how to play out the maps, that dude is just a whiny little girl

Campers are starting to drive me crazy. It seems every level with several building everyone just finds a window and hangs out. I've just been playing everything but deathmatch for this reason.
