because that is the style i like? i already said i like close quarter maps like cod maps, which usually involve less people because they are smaller.

i don't like playing a game where it is the first to 50 kills and everyone gets to kill like 3 people. i find in the games with a ton of players 99% of the time you get killed by someone you didn't even know was around, it's someone just cleaning up the mess of another encounter.

My little bro got it for ps3. Watching him play, it's a lot harder to level up and he's one of those that usually is 15 and 3 in a match. He plays mostly cranked since it's a quick way to get squad points. You use the points to buy weapons and perks.

The load out system is way complex. You can spend half an hour if you unlock a lot of perks trying to set up a class. Looks like sub machine guns aren't as deadly and assault rifles are pretty jumpy. But they do have the m4 from mw2.

Maps are a lot larger but the cranked games he was playing they didn't seem so big. He did play larger maps and he mentioned you need a decent team for those because you can spend a lot of time roaming around and at times getting picked off by a camper or sniper. I have no issues with snipers on large maps, but when the map is so big, the strategy for camping and figuring out where one could camp does take some time.

Also, sniping is a bit tougher in this one which I like because you can't do the quick scope cheap death trick that easily. Not sure how it will be for ps4 because I won't be able to play it until next week.

Now they change it and people complain the maps are too big? Get over it and adapt to the change or play a older cod or bf4.

I'm having no trouble playing online. Yes there are vantage points for snipers but watch where you are going. I'm getting a lot of kills from people using marathon that just run past me. You have to remember this isn't a treyarch game, the sounds are loud. If your running I can literally hear you from far away using amplify and my pulse headset.

I don't run around all crazy, I never did. I don't sit in a damn corner either. I got spoiled playing crouch only servers on pc and I have no issue going positive by +5 or higher damn near every game because people run the whole time and I hear them coming.

Last year: BO2 is buggy and laggy as hell, the maps suck too. MW3 was way better.

My brother says the same thing. It's harder to level up in ghosts. Mainly done through skill points which are easier to get if you only play cranked. They changed the dynamics a bit. He's usually very very good about leveling up. I on the other hand pretty much suck if I don't play a lot.

Yup the only way to get kill streaks now is to pick up a briefcase and do the assigned kill. Each one has a different assignment. Makes it tougher but usually you get a care package or some other streak. Once you level up more you can unlock different kill streaks. Makes it more balanced and with the maps being bigger it's not as much of a cluster.

They regular kill streak system is still in the game. That is a field order which will award you a care package if completed.

Yea I don't have the game yet I only watched my brother play it on ps3 but I'm getting it on ps4. I dunno how he set it up because I never saw him get any kill streaks like he used to with the previous games. He did get field orders though quite a lot.

Now the ps4 version looks brighter whereas in that slow motion video from a while back the Xbox version was brighter.

This is the kind oif stuff that has me second guessing my future purchase of a XB1. I am not a graphics whore by any means, but I am starting to fear that the XB1 multiplatform games will be inferior to the PS4 games.

that is why you purchase both platforms, so you don't have to worry about those things and can get any game on either system.

The problem with that is I am moving next summer, so I will be using my console as the main way to keep in touch. I will own both consoles, but if the ps4 games look and run better, I am going to want to do the majority of my game time on it, but none of my friends or family have any intention of getting the ps4.

I only have 2 friends getting a ps4. One used to have Xbox. The others well they don't game any more. Lots of times for certain games I'll play with randoms.

Yeah, I know what you mean. Now, for the most part, we will all play our own thing but will usually jump into a party chat so we can just talk to everyone while we play.

I can't say I ever heard complaints about BO being worse than MW2 or BO2 being worse than MW3. The general consensus is that MW2 and MW3 were the worst in the bunch by a long shot (not counting W@W).

MW2 and MW3 sped up what was already pretty fast gameplay, and then injected a metric ton of randomness through piles of perks, piles of killstreaks, and overly complex map design. That's when everyone has bitched. The following year, Treyarch reigns it all back in with a focus on what made the original MW such a hit, beginning with tight map design with calculated choke points.

Oh, and ditching CTF for the abomination that is Blitz sucks. The best moments in CTF is when both teams have the other team's flag and there's a standoff. No more

These resolution comparisons in reviews are kind of silly.

1080p looks better than 720p? Well, duh. There is a massive difference between 1080p and 720p. We can all fire up a PC game, switch between 720p and 1080p, and see. Yeah, 1080p looks way better, no shit.

The bit about the framerate drops is interesting though.
