Well after waiting to get MW2 until it went on sale for under $20, I figured I'd get in on the ground floor for this one, and coughed up the $60 to get it from Steam. I gave it a whirl at lunch, and some guy called Commander Korea or something was already level 53, appeared to be using an aimbot from watching him, and had the whole server yelling at him while he taunted them in l33t speak.
Aside from that, it was pretty fun. I kept getting killed by a sentry gun at one point. My M4 didn't seem to do much damage, so I decided to exhaust it's ammunition supply by throwing my body at it repeatedly. After the 15th death, one of my teamates hit it with a missile, so I guess I still don't know how much ammo the sentry guns have.
Also the starting loadouts are decent enough. It wasn't too painful to play a couple levels to get "create a class" and then it wasn't too painful playing with iron sights to get a red dot sight.
Overall pretty good. I think I'll get Skyrim too for when I get too frustrated with MW3 though.
