haven't played on a dedicated server yet, but the hit boxes on the p2p are way too forgiving...very frustrating to watch the death cam and see the enemy shooting 2 ft behind me and getting the kill.

Yeah, but they're super forgiving for everyone. I watch my own game winning kills and think, "Wow, that was so sloppy."

The game is pure console trash in general. I'm also amazed at how different the community can be between this and Black Ops. I've had to listen to more foul mouthed morons in the first week of this game's release than I have in nearly a year of Black Ops MP. Mute really is your best friend, but it seems as though once the idiots realize nearly everyone has muted them they then take it to text anyway. That's not to say it doesn't have some nice points, but the game in general is simply MW2 with new maps/perks. I know people like to say "more of the same" with every new COD release, but this time it really does just feel like a giant DLC for MW2.

Was in a game with another hacker earlier. Everyone was yelling at him, but he didn't care. He kept getting every kill streak bonus, including the nuke.

Black Ops > MW3

Black Ops was way better. I think this grudge match between IW and Treyarch is stupid. IW basically threw away everything Treyarch did good out of spite.

Graphics was worst than MW2 and Black Ops. I had to maximized everything back to what it was.

It Steam is anything like Blizzard and is proactive in constantly banning players for cheating, anyone using aimbots/wallhacks should be gone quickly. That is if Steam does anything. There isn't an undetected wallhack at the momeny that involves NOT injecting into the executable.

The PC version is suffering some type of memory leak. FPS drops dramatically after 3-5 games and forces you to restart to reset it back to normal.

I spent a decent amount of my weekend going back and forth with this game and Skyrim. As of tonight, out of 122 games played, I've only come across 2 noticeably aimbotters. Not bad compared to Black Ops, which the undetectable wallhack from MW2 was easily ported to BO on release day. I figured that it was a good time to play it before the game is riddle with wall hackers.

Actually, I've seen more obvious hacks in MW3 in this past week than I would see in two months in Black Ops. Now that's not to say anything about the ones that don't stand out like a sore thumb to you though. Obviously with Ops being all dedicated servers blatant cheaters probably won't last too long before being hit with the ban hammer, where as in MW3 they can pretty much have a free run until VAC decides to take action.

I don't see how you think anything is going to happen to the cheaters. There's no mechanism to report them with p2p servers.

Also I haven't experienced any memory leaks or performance problems.

Does anyone know if MW3 has an equivalent to the "Combat Training" feature in Black Ops? I can't play online and Combat Training was a way I could enjoy the game. Kind of like multiplayer but all the other players are bots.

I don't know why, but the graphics in MW3 mutliplayer look terrible. As someone else said, MW2 and Black Ops both looked better.

I've turned all of the settings to max, and graphical detail from auto to extra.

What gives?

Set your Image Quality to NATIVE (not Extra) and Screen Space Ambient Occlusion to High Quality - I left my textures on Auto. The Image Quality setting will be like the difference between SDTV and HDTV.

The TF2 community has some absolutely unbearable people, which makes playing the game a horrible experience, in my opinion. Having to hear people complain incessantly during every match just kills the experience for me.

Holy cow - THIS. I've been debating toying around with this on PC but not at 28gb. They are just getting lazy. On xbox they have at most what, 8gb they can stuff on those DVD's? What gives?

It's only 14Gb at least when you install from a disc.

It's not 28gb, steam simply displays both sp and mp as different downloads both as "14gb".

I'm pissed they didn't include more HC modes. All I played on BLOPS was 9v9 HC CTF and the best I can do on MW3 is 6v6 HD DOM...
