Actually, I liked the single player better than Cod4. I spend way too much time playing W@W multi. You do have to find the right server, and one that runs a mod. But once you get there it is one of the best fps out there. It is an acquired taste though.

I got burned out on this game after lvl 20 or so for a while.

Then I picked it up again and started playing tactical servers. (usually TDM)

Tactical server means:
- always crouched or waling iron sighted (can sprint to cover if under fire)
- Sometimes no rifle nades
- No marty
- No second chance
- hardcore mode (almost always)

This has made the game a blast for me now.

I've played singleplayer through once, and have no real desire to play it through a second time. Unrealistic run-and-gun gameplay, endlessly spawning enemies, insane amounts of grenade spam on the highest difficulty setting, etc.

I got it free with an NVIDIA card. Newegg was giving them out (maybe still is) with lots of GTX 2xx cards. I play multiplayer many times. I have always been a fan of the COD series however I do complain about the maps. Not enough custom servers out there and the stock maps are all small and they get old after a while. Also, lots of spam with artillery strikes. These games make it way too easy to get access to artillery.

Shame that there has never been a deal on COD4 and that is the reason I have never gotten it. I hear that COD6 will cost $60 (and probably never go on sale for that matter )

Picked it up pretty much just for the zombie stuff. I'll have to wait til the weekend to check it out, but I've played it a little on the PS3, and thought the zombie stuff was pretty cool.
