I got such great advice last time, I had to come back for more.
Just about 2 weeks ago I was playing soccer, and I kicked the hell outta this guy, shin to shin basically. I limped for a day, then it started feeling better and better. I could tell it was bruised, but it didnt swell too noticeably. After the sensitivity to touch dissipated a bit, I decided to try and massage it to help the bruise go away (not even sure if that will do anything). What I discovered was that with a little pressure, my skin would depress and stay there. With a bit of pressure, I could make some nice divots! Here are 2 pics, taken in poor lighting.

I could take better pics, but I think you will get the idea.
It stays like that for a good 20 min or so before it goes back to normal. That whole section of leg does it, not just where the dents are now, but I just wanted to show some contrast.
Hmm, I dont know if this is a doctor or stupid human trick thread after all...
BTW, I *was* wearing shin guards...
