Calling ATOT plumbers

So we have a Kenmore Power Miser 12 gas water heater.

The pilot went out today.

If I relight it, it stays lit and the burner comes on for about 10 minutes then shuts off along with the pilot.

What do you think is my first step to fixing? Thermocouple?

Most likely, or a lack of gas. Thermocouples are cheap and easy (much like me) so I'd start there.

Everyone said thermocouple but I'm not sure there was an update.

I wouldn't think it's the thermocouple since it lights and stays lit for 10 minutes. In my experience, a thermocouple either works or it doesn't. I've seen this in a commercial boiler and it was caused by too much gas pressure but that's unlikely in a home water heater.
I'd check the vent/flue for obstructions and make sure enough O2 is getting to the unit. IE, did you recently do something to block the air from getting to the unit.

I had my thermocouple go bad, but it would still light up, just not stay that way. Replaced it and have had no issues since.
