Cute. Gary Numan getting paid on this too! Too bad it probably won't turn any ears on to his newer music.
So, does this work, you can go to walmart without having to wait in line for for an hour or deal with unstocked and disorganized shelves?
The IP costs for that must be astronomical. Is this on TV yet or just online? It is definitely a SB ad. I think companies have been releasing those in advance over the last couple of years, anyway.
Thanks for the info!My local store was one of the early expanded test sites. I've been using it for awhile now & it's amazing! My local grocery store charges $3.65 for a gallon of milk, whereas Walmart is $1.78. That may not sound like a lot, but I save nearly $200 a year just in milk costs (average 2 gallons a week used in my household). There's no pickup fee (just a $30 minimum) & you're not allowed to tip the workers. AND YOU DON'T HAVE TO GO INSIDE WALMART!
I can't even imagine. If I were to venture a guess, they probably spent at least $10 million on licensing costs. Although it depends on who owns all of the IP...if it's all under the Disney umbrella, then maybe they struck up a nice deal in addition to selling Disney merch in-store or something.
I wonder how much they had to pay out for Ready Player One? so many licensed characters in that movie...
It's ok. They'll make it up by paying their peasants peanuts.I can't even imagine. If I were to venture a guess, they probably spent at least $10 million on licensing costs.
Yep. Our Superstore was a very early test store and we've been using it for over a year. You order everything online, pick a time and then go to the store during that window. You pull into a spot, call the number and they bring it out and load it for you. Very convenient and there's no charge. Every month or two they give you a small reusable walmart bag that is full of goodies to try and see if you like. So, does this work, you can go to walmart without having to wait in line for for an hour or deal with unstocked and disorganized shelves?
You have to wonder why they blew their wad on a single commercial. Why not make a series of commercials featuring a different vehicle in each one? Hmm.pretty cool but there are other famous cars that could have been there:
Christine
The Car
Black Beauty
James Bond cars
Speed Buggy
Speed Racer
Munster Mobile
