yes, i know that they're NA also. i was just responding to your remark that "You can get more fuel/air in there by increasing displacement, or by forcing it in with a turbo or SC. Different methods, same result." by pointing out that the M3's engine is NA.
and yes, when it comes to racing, total output is what matters. i'd be stupid to deny that. but it would be nice to see the LS1 pump out 80hp/L NA.
as for GM's new "creative use of technology" by shutting off 4 cylinders, BMW and Mercedes have been using it for a while haven't they?
as for the 18-24MPG, my dad's boss averages ~16MPG. i mean, how many people are gonna drive a Vette like a granny?
as for interior quality, the Vette's sucks ass. that's the biggest beef that i have with american cars. most of the money goes into the engine, while eveything else takes a back seat. the long awkward looking shift knob in the camaro/trans am looks awkward to me.
