Better yet, let's add "hi tech" stuff to our primitive pushrod V8...Like 4 valves per cylinder and DOHC...NEW stuff like that. Oh wait, the I-4 that powered the 1920 Ford Model T also had 16 valves and DOHC. Doh!!! Scratch that one.
Oh wait, how about we add some variable valve timing...THAT has GOT to be high tech, right? I mean, there is no way that any stupid american company would be able to come up with something as ingenious as VTEC or VVTI...oh wait...that has been around for a while too...it's just that Honda started referring to it as VTEC, turning it into a selling point...kinda like saying "this car has i-UBBS, intelligent Ultra Ball Bearing System, which reduce friction and make it go faster".
Front-wheel drive handles better than RWD? Is that so? Then why don't we see more FWD F1 or Le Mans racers? If it is so much better, why not use it? Is it because FWD is just a cost-cutting measure that manufacturers started in the 70s during the economic slowdown, and had nothing to do with improving a cars handling? In reality, FWD actually worsen's a cars handling by putting too much work load on the front tires. AWD? Yeah, AWD is ok if you are off roading...but that's where AWD stops being beneficial.
I could go on and on...I've heard it all, and I love schoolin the ignorant ricers. Then again, maybe it's better that they continue believing what they believe. Then you can race them for $$$ and make some quick cash.
