I don't really care much, this video is in circulation for Honda fanboys. "Oh look how bad the NSX owned the Camaro, what a piece of american trash..." That said, the NSX had a badass run and the SS probably had a combination of problems to run that time.

The truth is for every 11 second NSX, there are at least 10 10second LS1 based cars. And thats an extremely conservative estimate.

Many just blindly defend a car, fact is very few offer 100% of everything to everyone...

Comparing a SS to an NSX is like saying to someone with a house in Beverly Hills that they have a home twice the size in Compton. Same with comparing the NSX to a Ferrari...

Exclusivity is a major draw in vehicles with the SS you don't have that, with the Corvette you don't either...an NSX will turn heads and draw attention.

Down in S. Florida everyone seems to have a fast mustang or camaro...along with being the butt of jokes by women as you enter the bar or club you just valeted at 'probably lives in a trailer or cheap apartment'. The corvette guys get worse treatment . Now I have yet to hear a comment on someone in a honda unless it had an aluminum wing on it.

The NSX is not a drag car, independant suspension is anti-productive to straight line domination.

1) the nsx won easily
2) the camaro had a very bad run
3) the nsx costs a LOT more money
4) the camaro was probably near stock
5) the nsx was obviously modified

So even with the best run the camaro could pull, it would still lose to that nsx. But it's hardly fair seeing as how the nsx + mods is 2 to 3 times as much money as that camaro.

That nsx is definately superior to the camaro in a straight line and turns, but that's what you'd expect from the extra money.

I'm not a huge fan of the NSX...but Camaros are pure garbage.

big whoopie! they have a "big healthy" V8! They handle like $hit (yes, I've driven my friends), they fall apart even when BABIED (total garbage...plastic fantastics...and he BABIES his)...and to top it off, they are just WAY too big to be fun...like driving a large wedge with a bathtub for the seat.

95% percent Corvette

None of the cars in this thread suck. The NSX is an awsome car... if it were 50k. The f bodies are just great bargains for the performance, and you're just a moron.

Most NSX's are not brand new, they are down below $20k occasionally. They only recently did a major revamp so you can have a 1992 or whatever that looks just like the one the guy bought a couple years ago.

First off, I've probably been with more women than you, and I'm gay.

Second, way to flex your car knowledge muscle, there's no such thing as a new SS. Production has ended.

Third, of course I'd pick an NSX if someone were going to give it to me. It's worth a lot more. I could sell it and get a better car.

Wow....lots of useless ramblings in this thread, of which I will add:

1. The NSX is a great car. Fairly unique, even though the design is like over 10 years old. It will still turn heads. Though, as pointed out, I'd rather spend 80K on a porsche. And the other 20K in mods on the porsche as well.

2. Drive a Freaking F-Body!!! It's fast in the straight line, and very capable in the turns. ViperGTS dug out the exact article I was going to post. Most people talk about base V6 camaros. Drive an SS and you'll realize it's not as bad as people say. I'd say it competes with the best of them.

4. Yes, the Camaro is a domestic. All of the rest of the cars I now own are imports. What am I? f'ed up I guess, but basically, I appreciate good cars, domestic or import. Why's everyone gotta be a hater for no good reason? Hate is fine, as long as you have a rational reason for it.

My car has been beaten at the track a number of times and I've wasted a number of haters myself. It's all just a function of $$$. If I had 150K to drop on a lingenfelter, well that's what I'd do. If you want price/performance, not too many things approach the Fbodys.
