These things are great for $36. I have the baby PC Works speakers and they sound better than anything that I've heard from Altec Lansing.

Is this only good in the B&M stores and not online?

Yes, you can try to do it online.
but Staples online will tack on shipping while B&M might not.

The satellite speakers are identical to the normal Soundworks and the satellites used for the 4-point FPS surround digital soundworks and the DTT2500 digital 5.1 speakers.... and the sub is similar but from what I read they actually improved the sub for this 2.1 digital soundworks speaker set (I think just cause it came out later than the other ones). I read that it's got slightly deeper bass and I think is also slightly larger. I'm mighty impressed with the quality of these speakers and for this price it's a real no-brainer for people with SB Live! digital sound cards and don't want to spend a fortune on nice speakers.

here is a suggestion.
how about say you don't know how much thenerds overnight shipping cost is.
just tell Staples to add $5 flat shipping cost to the price.
that would make it $51 - $10 coupon, still pretty good.

This is good deal. Staples will tack on the shipping but it's still cheaper to pricematch because the 10 off 40 will save you the shipping costs.

My roommate has these speakers and the sound is very refined. The bass is extremely powerful but the satellites sound a little flat. Overall, this is a much better value than the ACS33 deal that has been floating around.

It looks like nobody has posted a response stating that they have gone ahead and gotten the deal. Well I just wanted to give ya'll at least one feedback.

I went to my local Staples and they have one left. I showed them the print out of the page and the guy called some guy on the phone, probably some manager or acting assistant manager or something... anyway the guy on the phone said &quot;Go ahead and give it to him for that price&quot;. They didn't even MENTION shipping costs! Yipee... so I save $5... but they refused to grant me the $10 off $40 coupon cause they said it's &quot;unethical&quot; and already a really good deal! I agree it's a good deal regardless, but unethical? WTF? Well it was the last one and if I didn't grab it someone else would've and I couldn't pass up these speakers for $48 and change with tax... What do you guys think?

Hmm guess I'll be hitting the local Staples again this weekend. I have the non-digital version of these and like the sound very much. My office machine needs a set of spkrs and has a Live in it so...

They never even mention shipping there when I use a net ad.

Ya, I bought the floor model for $45. It was worth it, these babies rock! Staples is not ordering these in anymore, so I took a shot and bought the floor mode. Boy was it worth it, and they threw in a one year guarantee. They are also not so happy to give me the $10 rebate, but $45 for these speakers ain't that bad...
