In a movie theater turn on a camera and aim it near the window, youll see these. Arent they the camera detectors? They are IR.

i think those are IR emitters for the audio headsets


besides you couldn't detect a camera - it's passive and doesn't generate any signals. i suppose one could be jammed by saturating it with some wavelength it's sensitive to but you can't see so others won't be bothered.

During screening movies they usually walk in with night vision looking for cameras..

They look for the IR range finding emissions.

all you would have to do to defeat them is place electrical tape over the ir emitter on the camera and set it to manual focus
