Hey there m8s..
my dad is a collector of mechanical cameras but today we got a somewhat specail camera.
it is a *Kodak disk 6000*.. I could find very little about it, but here is what I found:
it was made between 1982 and 1984.. its original price was 90$ and its current price is 40-60$.. its film size is HR-Disk..
I know nothing of this camera/kind so I hope anyone can help me out..
btw, it is still sounds like working, though I don't have an HR-Disk.. I wonders if anyone knows if I can still buy it anywhere, I would like to give this camera a test..
so, hmm, have anyone heard of it? know something of it? or does anyone know of a forum of cameras's collectors that might be able to help me??

hmm.. I don't have a clue.. all I could find is that it uses "HR-Disk" (whatever THAT means..).. when I opens it look like needing a round disk...

Kodak in the 1980's came out with disc cameras, the film was basically a disk.. It had a very small negative so other then for snapshots it wasn't much use. I also believe that Kodak has stopped making film for the camera as well, it was never really that popular. So I really don't think you will be able to try it out unless you can find some old stock of film and more importantly someone to develop it.

This is correct. Kodak quit producing disk film in 1998.

A friend had to pay $30+ to get her last disk processed, a few months ago, by a company specializing in outdated formats.

that's a bit disappointing... I paid for the camera at around 10$, but still.. well anyways, thanks alot for informing, that is great help!
