Ruben - the DPC has 2900 members, we have 2300

of those, 1300 DPCers posted blocks yesterday, compared to less than 600 for us

as you can see, even with 3/4 of our members on other projects we are running you close, and if they all came back, you would still be the bigger team

and you would lose

Duh! , &amp; RC5 is useful? OK ,whatever ,not a very clever statement that, is it?

Anyway, you have a point. But keep in mind that Anandtech is not purely american and, more important, that there are many other american teams (like /.) There are other Dutch teams too, but less.

RC5 sucks too, but most people join becouse of the *race* to the top (and the stats ofcourse)

But then the question is (becouse the netherlands is about 20 times smaller .. (and probably more becouse bobberfatt said that Anandtech insn't totally america, and I belive him )

Why can such a stupid rainy country do more blocks then a team that has many more people (on the site ) ?!?!?!

I don't want to flame, but you say that if everybody of Team Anandtech would participate in the RC5 contest instead of the other contests, you could easily beat DPC. So then why don't they all join TA on RC5? Exactly, because they don't want to and most of them probably never will. So then please don't say if you're getting beat for a while that you could do much more if all TA's members that don't do RC5 would do RC5, because that won't happen.

Just my $0,02 worth.

I wanted to apoligies if this would be a flamewar, but I think we have still the right of keeping track of the facts. So I think you (AT or some members of it) have to think also before they speak. I know that there were atempts to get other users to do more RC5, and those actions didn't turn out very well.
