Can a manufacturer make a GTX 750 Ti with SLi

I'm curious to know if a card maker can make an SLi-capable GTX 750 Ti even if nVidia doesn't approve/allow/support it. As far as I know, none of them currently support it. Seeing deals on them for ~$110 makes it seem like an affordable dual card (unlike Asus' dual GTX 760) could be interesting.

Nope, won't happen. Even if they did make the card, the driver wouldn't support it.

A hacked driver can do the trick, but it's not officially supported. The card is physically capable of SLI-ing though; as the GTX 860M 2GB is virtually the same card and that has many SLI rigs in laptop land. But for some reason people don't want users SLI-ing the 750Ti. And honestly, at its price point, I could see why. It's pretty strong for an entry level build, and SLI downsides aside, doubling up its memory bandwidth and power for equal to or under what a single 760 costs may be very attractive to certain people. But that'd kill 760+ sales a little =D.

The MOMENT nVidia releases a similar Maxwell card than can SLI, I'm dumping all cards I have to get 'em.

I ams ure it will also support DX12. And it already supports PhysX.

But by the time SC may come out, even Pascal may be obsolete.

Mantle = Awesome of you have a slow CPU
Mantle = 'OK' for everything else

I would get a better CPU instead of worrying about Mantle too much honestly, unless funds are limited.

Guess it depends on the price. I have seen them at 125 with rebates or open box for a little over 100$. Used pretty cheap too. If you could beat a 260$ 760 for 200 then it would have a small niche.

if you could run two maxwell of 75watt pci-e x16 slot it would make a ton of sense for oem boxes that don't have a lot of power supply options!

Those said boxes may not have the 2 slots, nor the PSU to drive it either.
