Can a Triniton Monitor have Dead Pixels?

Hi, sorry if it is a stuped question but this is my first triniton monitor and I just noticed two dark spots on my monitor and I am sure they were not there before. And yes I already cleaned the monitor so it is not dust or anything else. Also, can you use two copermines that are not CBO for a dual setup. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Quino, are you sure you arn't referring to the thin light lines common on all trinitron monitors? Normally they are like light grey and go horizontally accross the screen. Usually a 17"+ monitor will have two or so of em'...

Yup they can...I work in a computer store, and pratically every type we have has the possibility of getting a dead pixel. The worst of these suckers are the TFT monitors...

Seems mine has a few dead pixels.. Weird thing is, they come and go, and theres one spot, a tiny little area, the area of about half an icon, where the dead pixel moves around, its in different spots from time to time.

I've got a brand new Sony CPD-G400 and it's got one dead pixel in the upper left area. Honestly I don't even notice it unless I'm on a total white screen and I'm looking for it. It took me a few days to notice it in the first place. I'm not even going to bother with it unless I start seeing more.

Hi, thanks for all the responses. RentaCow, I knew about the two lines and I already got used to them but the yesterday I was using word and I saw the two little black spots. One is right on top of the bottom line and the other is more to the bottom. They have not changed position after several restarts of the computer and they can hardly be seen unless you are in a completely white background. Any ideas on the two non CB0 coppermines in dual mode. Is it possible I cannot find the article that I read a long time ago where it said you could not have dual coppermines.
