The NRA are not a "terrorist" organization, they are a front for the Russian government.

I think the label "terrorist" has lost all meaning in the 17 years since 9/11. US government basically calls anybody they kill "terrorists". Russian government calls anybody they kill "terrorists". Syrian government calls anybody they kill "terrorist". Chinese government calls everyone they kill "terrorists".... etc.

Basically, if you were killed by a government since 2002 you are a "terrorist"

Since everyone who defends the NRA believes all Muslims are terrorists who believe in 72 virgins, the argument can definitely be made convincingly that all NRA supporters are terrorists who believe in mass shootings to show their buddies the scoreboard.

Bottom line is the NRA represents people who don't have a job, don't want a job, don't have a wife, can't get a wife other than a russian/ filipina mail in bride, and love to show off with guns, sometimes for real with guns in terms of scoreboard of people killed.

I can tell you this buddy what everyone else sees is an extreme right wing hate merchant who helped trump win the election. You're a smart guy. So work it out from there.
Why do you continue to forget that you claim to be Australian?

Let's be honest here if it wasn't for the NRA, Assault style weapons, large capacity magazines and all that extra shit would of been illegal years ago and we wouldn't have this glut of these types of guns guns in america. Seriously does anyone here deny this?

So since that is true the NRA is responsible for all this mess, and they need to be held accountable. They are not you fathers NRA they are a political hack organization for the gun manufacturer lobby and other right wings organizations. Just look at Wayne Lapierre's recent speech at the CPAC, it was not about fire arms it was about heathen liberals.

Completely agree. It's a great thing that there is a lobbying organization who has dedicated a tremendous amount of resources to ensure that the second amendment continues to exist with the least amount of restrictions possible and those of us who wish to exercise our rights granted by the 2nd are able to do so.

The "heathen left" gets called out because they are the fascist, c0cksucking, pieces of sh!t that want to continue to unfairly restrict or eliminate the rights granted by the 2nd. Get over it.

You know I'm right.
What I know is that you've taken a foolish position and aren't man enough to admit it was nothing but hyperbole.
The thing is, I actually understand where you're coming from. I'm pretty sick of watching children get shot down myself, but impotent rage and outlandish statements do nothing. They won't even vent your frustration.

Nelson Mandela was on the terrorist watch list until 2008, wouldn't be surprised if it's possible to put pretty much anything on it.

The NRA isn't a terrorist organization. It's corrupt and dangerous to its very core in its current incarnation, but terrorism? No.

What irks me about threads like this is that it gives Republican apologists like taj the fodder they need -- they can avoid acknowledging the very serious problems with the NRA because a claim being made against it is even more extreme. Never mind that the modern NRA is a tool of the arms industry that bribes Republicans into tolerating rampant, entirely avoidable gun violence, a left-leaning person said they were a terrorist organization! Get them!

1. I deny it.
2. They are a lawful political lobbying organization.
3. Know your enemy.

Well, !@#$. September 11th happened, let's eliminate all first, fourth, and fifth amendment rights. Wouldn't want potential crime or terrorism as the "price of freedom".

Yeah, I deny it.

The NRA doesn't create gun enthusiasts; it's gun enthusiasts who create the NRA and like organizations. There are a number of other pro 2nd amendment orgs around. If there weren't an NRA, it would be one of the other ones you people would complain about.

I tend to think you all overstate the importance of the NRA.

---------------------------

To the OP's question: Seems silly to consider the NRA a terrorist organization. It promotes a civil right, a part of the US Constitution and does so through lobbying and education. Lobbying is not a terrorist-type activity.

No and Yes.

They are an advocacy group for gun owners and manufacturers.

They are heavily funded by gun manufacturers, and lobby in the same way PhRMA does for the drug industry.

A difference being that there is no Constitutional amendment to pharmaceuticals. As destructive as PhRMA can be (eg. How big pharma's money – and its politicians – feed the US opioid crisis, eg Pharma Lobby Group Sues to Bar California's Drug Price Law) they are not attacking opioid victims on Twitter, or calling for overthrow of the government, free media or other institutions to sell more drugs.
They are not an advocate of manufacturers per se. They do advocate for the rights of gun owners, which includes being able to buy and sell them, so in that regard, they defend the rights of citizens to own and bear arms and sell and buy them.
The NRA does not sell guns, which was the question.

NRA fosters mental cases. Only the vulnerable and low IQ believe the NRA doctrine. Unfortunately our education system has created tons of low IQ Americans. I can't research to buy a gun without getting hammered with Hilary coming to get your gun ads by NRA. Fucking nutjobs and ammosexuals.
You are confusing the NRA with the Democratic (Socialist/Communist) party.

It is when the group promotes rights the OP doesnt agree with. The sad part is people the OP can never think if they allow such power, the president may get around to target things they like.
