Can an Apple Time Capsule work as a nas for security cameras?

I have some Amcrest cameras that I would like to get a nas for, I found a used 5th gen 2tb time capsule for 75 locally and would buy it if this would work

What kind of file sharing protocols do the cameras require? Time Capsules support samba (windows file sharing) but not ftp or anything weird.
