Wow, this is the heaviest and most technologically advanced Christmas card I have ever received. The back of the card says $6.99. 5 x 41 cents = $2.05 in postage. Did you just spend over $9 to send me this level of holiday cheer in card form? I will assume that you did and thank you for it.

Does that mean you are wishing me ?Christmas lol?, or was the lol associated with the holiday snorgles? If fuzzybabybunny is associated with those snorgles, I would like to pass on them now. A fight scene might have to break out, eerily like this one that I found a 7th grader writing in the computer lab last week?

I have been a bit down lately. I think I may be having my quarter life crisis. There are a lot of changes going on in my life now and it has been making me kind of depressed. I will have some periods of happiness, but those tend to be short lived lately as I think about my life as a whole when I am alone. It is really tough for me to figure out what I want to do.
I am not sure what the future is going to bring, but I hope things will continue to be good. I feel like I am making a lot of the same decisions and mistakes that I told myself I was not going to make anymore. I guess I am just too set in my ways and not motivated enough to change.
Maybe this negative attitude and feelings are as simply caused by me not taking enough time to do the things that I enjoy. This week I finally finished my last undergraduate class, Curriculum & Instruction 463. I am still taking my Student Teaching (C&I 498) until late January. Spending 7:30am ? 3:30pm at school and then several hours at work before coming home to do seminar work or grading / planning has not left much time for me to relax. I have not even turned my projector on in a couple weeks. Just a couple months ago I was considering getting a new projector, but that seems ridiculous at this point just from a usage standpoint.
Maybe I just need to focus on the positives more. I have made a LOT of progress on my e-portfolio, an electronic collection of ?artifacts? that show my growth as a teacher. I have made some good relationships at my student teaching placement (just got back from a holiday party) and the kids seem to like me? although class rarely goes as planned. My girlfriend continues to put up with my crap for some reason. The relationships I have with my family are only getting better with time. I am somewhat financially stable for the foreseeable future.
I do have a lot to be thankful for this holiday season. I should be very happy about my life, but I just am not feeling it lately. Thank you for the Christmas wishes. I hope you have a happy Christmas as well. May your happiness be clearer and less in doubt than my own!
