Can anyone name one position Romney has not flipped on?

The only thing that comes to mind is not raising taxes but a recent non partisan study from a group Romney himself has cited says his plan would raise taxes on the middle class.

Perhaps his refusal to release more then one year of taxes. I think public pressure will force a flip on that also.

Latest update - 10/30: Flip on defunding FEMA back to the states. See post near end.

Romney is proof that if an empty headed characterless moron shows up to run as a Republican and can pass all the superficial good looks tests by smiling at every inane thing he says, he can be elected by the plethora of morons who vote. It will be a real tragedy of we do elect that dolt, but it is very possible, I think. America is deep into a mental disease.

His unwavering support for the state( but not the people of Israel) and the rest of his antijeffersonian foreign policy. He also hasn't really flip flopped on any policies anyway. He has just said he may do this or do that, but any educated intelligent person knows he is a pure statist at heart and no different from Obama.

I don't think he's flipped on the missionary position; I can't imagine him letting his wife be on top.

Romney has never wavered from the One True Faith, the belief that the Rich should get richer, even at the expense of everybody else.

It'll trickle down, right?

And obama isnt worse? He is proof that America can be sensitized to believe that if anything in the constitution hurts a non-whites feelings that we should just get rid of it, and he is also proof that if you sound good and make it appealing to people too lazy and dumb to care that you can impose a completely new government on them without any retaliation.

America is completely doomed now, if romney wins Ammerica will turn to hell, mormon style. And if Obama wins America will turn to hell, muslim style.

if there's one thing I know, it's that taking the positions voters want you to take is terrible, and no politician should ever change their stance on an issue, ever.

Unless they are a Democrat.

Then their changing of positions will be celebrated.

Oh please... you and your fellow Republican shills do the same thing. When it's your guy or your team flip-flops it's a "change of position". When your opponent flip-flops it's "they're a flip-flopper!"

Either every politician is a flip-flopper or every politician changes positions to reflect new information or recently discovered facts. It's not only Republicans who change positions or only Democrats who flip-flop... and vice-versa.

Actually Democrats do change their positions more than Republicans. The Republicans are a party that ignores reality and sticks with a policy no matter how badly it has failed.

Romney, however, has flipped more often than any politician in recent history. And his flips coincide with whatever office he is running for. This is deeply troubling to Americans.

"Mitt Romney, who is on record saying that he would not waste money going after bin Laden, on record saying he would not violate Pakistan's border to get bin Laden, this week said, 'Of course I would have gotten bin Laden.' Even his Etch-A-Sketch went,... seriously?"

It's the same proto fascist corporatocracy we've enjoyed since LBJ. It does appear that Obama has accelerated us down the slippery slope to straight up fascism. I think Romney would bing us to terminal velocity in that direction.

Do you have a link with him saying that?

Remarkably obtuse, as usual.

Romney obviously endorses offshore tax havens by using them, doesn't he? What segment of the American population benefits from that, other than the rich?

Romney has proposed that federal estate taxes be eliminated, obviously benefiting the extremely wealthy & nobody else.

Romney has proposed reductions in the corporate tax rate, even though the effective rate is now at the lowest since WW2. Corporate coffers are already bulging with cash.

he's proposed that the max tax rate on earned income be reduced from 35% to 28%. Who benefits from that?

He picked Ryan for his running mate, whose tax plan would reduce Romney's tax liabilities to less than 1% of income.

Romney's own fortune was amassed as a PE manager, with the carried interest tax break in that being huge, and his Bain pension is taxed under the same scheme. It's not like he's offered to give that up, or that anybody else should do so, either. Who benefits from that?

Repubs have become the party of the Rich, for the Rich, and by the Rich w/ delusional hangers-on.

I'm pretty sure you're not rich.

I am sorry, what part of "Do you have a link with him saying that?" did you not understand? Your opinion is already well known on this forum and proven wrong 1000 times. It's getting old.
