Can anyone recommend a good chair?

I am almost embarassed to ask, but can anyone recommend a good chair for an overweight person? I am seriously overweight (250lbs 5' 11" tall) and my last chair literally "snapped" and sent me to the ground.

I basically just need a good office chair that is well built and can support me.

OP< how fat are you? I'm no little fella myself, and get by just fine with a good quality executive chair. Can't find the exact one listed, (apparently discontinued) but Office Depot or other places like that should have a "wide" variety of chair to fit your broad bod...I know they did for me...

I'm 6'2" 280lbs and I don't have any problems with chairs breaking. Are you sure someones not trying to off you?

I remember my local computer shop. I went in to see what they had and this 500lb.+ jabba rolled in in a super wide executive chair. He was really snobby and wouldn't get up, he just used his fat stubbly legs to roll around the place.. It was grotesque.. He also stuffed cheap fans into Yate Loon boxes and sold them for $15 a piece...

I swear I wanted to just torch him. Hell, with that much fat he'd burn for weeks.

I am 6'1" 230, and I broke my last couple piece o' shit walmart/target specials, I went to Staples and ended up getting a little better chair and they game me a 3 year in house exchange for free with it

Not to make jokes, but a doctor would disagree. I'm about 5'11 and was 205 when I went to get a check up. the doctor said I was obese! I was like "WTF!" I know I ain't skinny but he called me fat I was floored

you prob are according to that chart which is total BS

those things say that my ideal weight is something like 175LBs im 6 feet tall,

i think the last time i weighed 175 is when i was 14, i ran Xcountry my senior year in HS and was in great shape, prob best shape i have ever been in and i couldent break 185

i have an chair from Office depo, ~200$ im now 6 feet 230 and its fine for me
