Can I change colour of various folders?

OK I have lot of folders that I burn to CD for backup.
To correctly identify/differentiate the folders that I have backed up from the ones that I haven't I would like to change there colour. Can I change the colour of the folders in W2k?

About the only thing ive found so far for windows 2000 is you can change the icon of a shortcut to the folder. Was playing with my windows xp and it will allow you to change the icon for the folder without the need of creating a shortcut. Unfortunetly that dosent help you much, sorry.
