I recently purchased this Enermax case with Enermax power supply:
Enermax, CS-A1QX-06, 2-Tone, 9-Bay, 300W PS, P4, MID Tower Case
I did a case mod and cut holes for the front intake fan. The Panaflo 80mm case fan I put there is quiet. I'll be running an Athlon XP 1700 using an Alpha Pal 6035. Great! This combo also runs quietly, if a little warm...
Now my problem is that the Enermax Power Supply fan that came with the case is too LOUD. So my question is now: where can I get a small mid-tower case with a quiet PS fan at a reasonable price? I'd like some advice for a future build. I'm stuck with what I got for now. Should I disassemble the Power Supply and grease the fan bearings? Is the In-Win s506's PS fan below quieter?
