OK, let's see what our requirements are so far:

- 6770 or less in power, preferably something that doesn't require external power.

- Low-profile. I looked at the back of the computer in the Newegg images. It clearly accepts only low-profile cards.

- Single-slot, or PCIe x1. Another Newegg image of the computer shows its PCIe x16 slot is on the outside, so there's only a single slot's worth of room.

Now, all the PCIe x1 cards I see on Newegg are single-slot already, so that point is moot.

So, this leaves you two good options:

1. Any of a number of GT430s. Here's one that's pre-overclocked.
2. The only single-slot low-profile Radeon 6670 I could find. At $100 it's also the most expensive card on my list.

Given the choices, for the best gaming performance, I'd go with #2.

Edit: Or you could buy a new PC.

I've tried to install a 5450 and a GT 210 on a Acer mini-ITX 200W without success, I get a black screen on both occasions. This was "my experience" with an Acer's mini-ITX computer maybe the op will experience better results, I'm not trolling anyone here. That 220w is not a Seasonic PS, it's a pos oem brand.

I ran a system with an i3 2120 with a sapphire 6670 low profile on a 150w supply for awhile before I upgraded to a 270w supply.

The 150w had no problems supplying enough juice. The psu fan was just to loud.

Honest suggestion here...

Get an XBOX for $150 and call it a day. It's just not worth the hassle in this case.

Too much is missing from this. Like what was in the system. etc.

5450 and a gt210 are sub 20w cards something else is afoot.

I just built a Skyrim system for one of my son's friends. We got a cheap Bulldozer/MB combo from microcenter for $109, 8 GB of RAM, and I sold him my old HD4830 video card (overclocked and with an Accelero) for $30, and it play Skyrim great at 1280 x 960. You certainly don't need to play at ultra-high rtesolution to enjoy this game.

Halp!

So I bought it, and plugged in my monitor to my "old" VGA input and am blackscreened. I know this is totally a newb question, but after plugging in my new graphics card it necessitates plugging my monitor into the card itself and it's inputs/outputs, as opposed to the VGA on the motherboard? I have to run to stupid Staples to get a converter if so, because my converter has 4 pin around the minus sign on the cables whereas this card does not have holes for that.

Yes, to use the card, your monitor should be plugged into it.

You will have to go into your BIOS and change settings. You have to set PCIe card as first boot priority, because your onboard VGA has priority right now. Plug it back into the motherboard VGA, change your settings, and then reboot with monitor plugged into your new card.

VGA -- but since I had to use the low profile the VGA isn't sticking out the back of my computer - ie cannot use the VGA to plug in.

Ok that makes sense now.

If your monitor has HDMI capability, I'd use that. As far as I know, other than expensive adapters, there isn't anything simple to just convert VGA - HDMI, because one is analog video only and the other is digital with sound.

Sounds like you have a DVI-I dual link adapter, and you need a DVI-D dual link adapter. DVI-I has the 4 additional pins around the "minus" tab, and DVI-D just has the tab.

HDMI has no advantage over DVI sans sound.

Dude there is no DVI-D-VGA adapter. The analog signal comes on those 4 extra pins.

Just run the ribbon through a space in your case and call it a day.

Good to hear. People tend to really underestimate the lower end cards. As long as you stay away from the rock bottom 64-bit memory bus crap you can do some decent gaming on them. The fact is the 6570 performs nearly as well as an 8800gt. I played the entirety of the first Crysis on an 8800gt at medium-high settings.
