Most Mod edits in posts are so the rest of the membership sees what was done to earn a Moderator's attention (not a good thing).

If we can encourage others from not committing that "sin", life is easier on all of us (Mods and members)

However, there are some that just can not seem to get the message and end up getting a vacation.
And there will be some that profess to never have seen the Mod edit; ignorance is not considered an excuse

I do miss the old anonymous Mod edits. Some were spectacular. Just never did anything to warrant one at the time.

Okay, I get the "letting other members know what attracted mod attention.

But as far as saying "ignorance is no excuse".....that's kind of weak, given how fast some threads here pile up the pages. I mean, if someone is cranking out 20 posts a day, I very seriously doubt they go back the next day and read everything they posted.

But whatever, the bottom line is, don't post things that are considered "against the rules", and you won't have to worry about it.

I recall before facebook etc this place was BUSY, especially busy was For Sale/Trade.
