Can I play Orange Box in a place with no internet?

If I go to a cabin that has no television or internet can I play Orange Box on my laptop? It seems that every time I want to play it Steam turns on and logs in. I thought I heard there was a way to play this game after you have it installed without needing internet access. Thanks.

you should be able to play without it, except for maybe TF2.
there's an option in STEAM to play offline.

Just unplug your ethernet and run steam before you leave for your trip. This will put steam in offline mode for subsequent reboots.

While still online, file>go offline

Then you're good 2 go. Offline that is.

If there is no connection it should propmt to log in to offline mode.
