Currently i have a slow internet connection, with a PC and laptop connected to the broadband.
Often when gaming online i will experience latency issues(often spikes for a few seconds at a time) while the laptop is on the network. The main culprit is my .40mb upload.

^^ this is a screenshot of the QoS settings page that my router has.
My router is a TP-Link w8951nd which connects to the internet via adsl2+
My router has QoS settings,is their any way to put all traffic from the PC at a higher priority when so that the effects of bottle necked bandwidth are less severe?
thanks for any help
