Just wondering from any of you out there who have had the opportunity to play around with DDR memory if you have had any luck setting Crucial, Samsung, etc memory modules to CL2 instead of CL2.5 which is what they are generally rated at. I remember reading an article on Toms Hardware at one point that said CL2 DDR memory did in fact exist but was rather expensive and difficult to find. Does this mean there are memory manufacturers producing CL2 rated chips or was he talking about some sort of hand picked modules such as Mushkin does with their top of the line stuff?
Anyway, my biggest question is with existing PC2100 memory such as Crucial's and assuming your motherboard allows you to manually enter memory timings have there been any successes setting your system to run reliably using the faster 2ns latency the sdram enjoys?
Thanks
