I was using layers; I've never used the stamp/clone stamp tool.

stamp tool + patch tool are what you need to learn to do this sort of stuff, there are probably other ways, but those two tools are both excellent photo tools to learn and know regardless

hmm interesting. *fires up photochop* time to mess w/ those. I always use multiple layers and layers, and blending tools and filters to do photo edits. Of course, I don't do stellar jobs of it, but at least they look somewhat convincing.

and yes, this thread needs more photochops!
