Can someone explain the search feature to me

Trying to find the topic of the man being arrested for being naked in the kitchen.

Advanced search All of these words "Man arrested Kitchen" returns no results. ANY of these words returns a thousand results, the topic that includes ALL 3 of my words not being on the first page.

Why can I type ANYTHING into google and somehow find what I need in two seconds, but find it impossible to find a particular thread on here?

search for: man arrested kitchen site:forums.anandtech.com

first result...

use google's 'inurl:' function to narrow the results to certain categories. for example, ot would be 'inurl:38' and the garage would be 'inurl:85'
