Can someone tell me what OS this is?

Hi guys,first off, it's probably a stupid question, but does anyone know what OS this is?

I'm guessing it's something linux, although I'm not positive. I've never used linux so maybe not. I know the program running is inkscape, but I'm wanting to know where the taskbar and such came from.

Or if it's just a certain desktop environment let me know as well. Thanks.

It's Linux, can't tell which distro though. Maybe XPDE (XP Desktop Environment), I'm not sure. Could be a KDE theme.

I've come across that version of Linux, but I can't remember what it was. It could be a Filipino distro if I remember correctly.

If you really want to know which one it is, I suggest you go to www.distrowatch.com and look at all the distros listed on the right side.

I'm thinking that it is a KDE theme. Not many people have been able to get XPDE working.

It's Gnome.

Look at the applications and icons. Gaim and Evolution start icons. Inkscape is a GTK+ 2.x application, too.

Also notice that there is a browser windows open to sourceforge.net and it's the 'foot' icon so that is probably Epiphany web browser (which is the 'official' gnome web browser).

I don't know what theme(s) (check out gnome-look.org to see if you can find it) they are using though. It's not XPDE... Those people are carefull enough to keep it obviously different but try to preserve the 'xp' look'n'feel. At least I don't think so.

Don't know why would somebody want to fugly up a perfectly good looking gnome desktop like that, though!
