i'll answer my own original post question. i absolutely would not have an issue with someone streaking their hair any color. on some people the different colors look very cool. i once went to a hairdresser who had black hair, and she had red as in apple skin red, streaks in her hair. it looked great on her.
i've done blonde streaks myself, but haven't ventured further.

Blonde? I think... who knows at this point. Its always something new.
Just streaks pretty much. Though in the back its pretty solid "purple"

I hate this particular thought process. There is nothing wrong with judging people based on looks. There will always be those rare few that prove this statement wrong, but to say it shouldn't be a criteria at all is just naive.
