I just purchased western digital 120 GB external USB 2 hard drive because it was a great deal at $100 (after rebate). Hpwever, I stupidly forgot that because of binary its actually 111 GB. I think I might eventually need more space to perform ghost backups of my 160 GB internal drive. So my question is this: is it possible to some day open up the WD internal HD and put in a larger WD drive? Or am I better off going for an external HD kit and buying a larger internal drive now?
