Can we add programs into the Itouch?

The Itouch come with a few basic options (Safari,Youtube,Calendar,Contact,Clock,Calculator,Setting,Music,Video,Photo,Itunes )

Can we add more programs, like let say, a notepad editor similar to document to go, to have in a way a kinda Palm?

If so where can we download them??

are you talking about the Apple iphone or the HTC Touch, im confused? If its the iphone, then no, but the touch can use any app for windows mobile.

Think he is talking about the ipod touch. As of now you can't load 3rd party software onto it. There are people out there trying to hack it like the iphone but they had no luck yet.

Yes, Aoleleb is right. They have been trying to "jailbreak" the iPod touch and so far have been unsucessful. As one of the hackers pointed out though - if Apple iTunes can read and write to the Touch, so can hackers once they figure out how iTunes does it. It's just a matter of time.
