Can We 'Delete' Shared Symantec Folder (Uninstalled)?

Seeking some information regarding Symantec Endpoint protection, version 11 which we just uninstalled. After enabling all files, and folders extensions, we found traces of Symantec. We deleted some empty folders but we noticed a shared Symantec folder being a .TMP file. This was located in the Common Files.

Can we safely delete this shared Symantec file? Below is a pic of the file and size. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

.TMP files are temporary files, and I have no qualms about deleting them.

I would have no problem removing that Shared Folder either. It was created by Symantec to augment the function of other software. What works for me is this - change the name of the folder to something like Old Shared. Then see if things run normally. If so, it can be deleted. If not, it can be renamed back like it was. BTW, it seems to have a sub-folder. Deca something. What is in it? Anyway, this confirms my beliefe:

Yes, I can rename the folder. The sub-folder is Dec ABI and when you open that file you retrieve Dec52E5.tmp. Same thing (Dec52e5), when you open Symantec main folder. There are only 2058 kb in the file, so it's somewhat meaningless.

Thanks very much. I'm sure if I delete the Symantec folder, there will not be any issues. Again, the sub-folder, 'Dec ABI' has the same temp file as the main Symantec folder. Any explanation for that? Maybe, this is the 'share' with the sub-folder which would have contained additional info, BUT we've deleted Symantec, so any additional files could have been deleted: Leaving the subfolder with a .tmp file. What do you think?

You should contact Symantec Support to get the current CleanWipe Utility for SEP.

Thank you very much. However, all traces of Symantec are eradicated with the exception of the aforesaid file. Cleaned the registry, common files, app data, x86 files, and anywhere else Symantec was keyed.

I've heard of the CWU for SEP., '(SAM) in registry'. At this point, CWU is useless, and not really needed. There are no issues on our end, just inquiring if I could delete the folder (containing a subfolder) with the same .tmp file. We'll just leave it, for the file is not posing any issues, nor would there be any. Thank you for the assistance.
