Can we get the S5 liftback, please?

I like it - the A7 look in a more usable size and less insane price tag. Be nice if Audi brought it over to the US.

I thought the purpose of the 5 series was to be a coupe. This should be either a 4 or 6.

That would be the S5, no? Like the OP said, a smaller version of the A7.

good lord now audi is copying bmw's dumbass naming convention, sedan of the coupe of the sedan. looks very nice though.

The A7 is a sedan, the A5 is a coupe. The one in the OP is a sedan also...which IMO would make it either a A4 or A6, both sedans.

As "evident" said, they're doing the same as BMW: 3 series is sedan, 4 is a coupe version of 3, and BMW 4 Gran Coupe is a 4-door version of a 4-series coupe...
MB isn't any better with CLA and CLS. Not to mention their SUV "coupes" (GLA, GLE coupe).
