Fvcking greedy doctors. Why can't they just do it for free? It's not like they need another 80 ft yacht or 10K sq. ft. mansion. Wait for enough money? WTF?

K, it won't let me type anything into the "other" field. My credit card is maxed, and $10 is all I can squeeze out of it. Anyone else have this problem?
Edit- Worked in IE
Also, "A team of doctors in Miami are ready to help the 14-year-old girl but they have to wait until enough money is raised to pay for her hospital stay."
It's the hospital that wants the money up front, not the doctors. They seem to be ready to go.

I don't think it's fair to criticize others for not being charitable enough... after all, chances are someone's going to die this year who could have been saved if you'd donated a kidney.Originally posted by: moshquerade

Agreed, I was thinking the same thing. What makes this girl different than all those other children suffering with other diseases and problems? Money is needed to do the operation, plain and simple. The hospital nor the doctors can sustain themselves by giving out charity work.Originally posted by: LtPage1
the problem is that they can't do this for everyone- and sad as it is, this girl's condition is by no means the worst case they've ever seen. if they give $100k to everyone who needs it, they will run out of money and have to shut down, and then no one gets treatment. welcome to the downside of capitalism.Originally posted by: moshquerade
