Hi everyone,
Can Win2k Pro be used as a file server if more than 10 computers will access it?
The reason I am asking is because Win NT 4.0 Workstation had that limitation (10 user Network Access Limit). I only want to do file and printer sharing, and I don't need any of the fancy stuff like IIS, DNS/DHCP/WINS Server. But I do need to make sure that 15-20 computers on my LAN can all access files on this machine simultaneously. Can anyone comment? Thanks!
Of course, I could use Win98 or Linux, but I like the familiarity of Win2K and its superior stability over win9x.
