Question Can you cannibalize a CPU AIO to work with a GPU?

A friend will let me use his AORUS GeForce RTX™ 2080 Ti XTREME WATERFORCE WB 11G while he is being deployed. However. I need a water cooling solution for it to work. I found a Corsair H115i Pro RGB for cheap but I don't know if I can remove the CPU part and use the tubes, fan, radiator for the GPU.

Is it even possible to do? Is it worth doing? I'm trying to spend as little money as possible since I'll have to give it back.

Most AiOs are not guaranteed to work if you break the coolant seal at all. They aren't moddable. You may also be disappointed by the pump performance of the Corsair unit.

Alphacool AIO's . Some of them are moddable. You ca "insert" your GPU in the loop. The expensive one(s) is usable without CPU cooling, Just disconect CPU loop and conect your GPU .

I have an h115 Pro without the lights
There is no way anyone with even moderate skill is going to be able to disassemble and mod it without it becoming a useless item.
Don’t they make water block AIO type coolers for the 1080’s and 2080’s?

Someone mentioned Alphacool. I thought there was a semi-custom (AIO not CLC) from someone that would let you use a regular block. Anyway, here's a list from Newegg of a few.

Do not change that sink on that giggy if its not yours.
It can easily be an excuse for refusing RMA, if they notice something was removed.

Bascially when you waterblock a GPU, you accept you just broke warrenty.
You can be unethical about it, and try to put it back, but this forum will not promote that.

To my knowledge the ONLY gpu company that allows the retrofit of there cooling solution is EVGA.
(also why they are also the ONLY company to sell the gpu block separately)
ASUS / GIGY / MSI will laugh at you and revoke your RMA the moment they find some proof you monkeyed with the stock sink.
