Damn I learned this so long ago. A parity bit is set to make your data word either even or odd. The only word with odd number of 1s is A, so it would not be even parity. You would need to have the word one parity bit =1 to make the whole thing even. So give it a shot and say A would return an error if using even parity. Not sure about the zeroes!?!
