In my high school there are two computer classes, Networking and Programming. I'm taking Networking (but learning programming on the side). Both classes together take a Troubleshooting course once a week. Well, last week we had a little test.
Each of us had to identify as many computer components as we could. They were all on a table. These are the parts:
Floppy
Hard disk
Modem
SCSI port
parallel/game port
PSU
motherboard
sound card
graphics card
NIC
Out of all 25 students, myself and two others were the only ones who correctly identified all of them. Most could only make out two or three. Now don't you think that's pretty sad, considering most all of them think themselves to be near computer experts?
