Can you MOVE a RAID1 Array on a P8P67?

Getting my replacement P8P67 tomorrow and I'm wondering if I need to move my data off and re-do my 2TB RAID 1 mirror. Since its the same board and same controller, but I think its hardware raid, what do you think? Just going to keep it on the same sata2 intel ports so I should be able to plug them in and they should work right?

I plan to keep my new c300 SSD on the same Intel controller but on the sata3 port obviously. I need to configure the Intel BIOS for RAID first because if I do it after installing the OS it will bluescreen.

Can a single SSD run and boot on the Intel controller configured for RAID?

Just moved my raid with no issues from 1 p8p67 pro to another Rev3.0 board. same make.

I too have an SSD as boot drive and have the intel controller set under Raid. it works fine

Thanks! Thats exactly what I want to do, but its a new SSD so I'm going to change to RAID then install windows first... Does it make a difference as far as whether the mirror should be recognized? I didn't think so but thought I'd ask.

Also, what free tool do you recommend for cloning my win7 partition to my SSD?

oh, I misunderstood the question the first time. I asked a similar one a few weeks ago in the storage/memory one. But I think you can use something like acronis to do it.

You might want to seek more clarification on that since my Raid array was simply for Apps before and not the boot drive to begin with.
