I grew up in western Mass, and we had tons of wild blueberries in the woods behind our house. I OD's on blueberries every summer...They'll give you a helluva case of the screaming shits...hell, you could shit through the eye of a needle at 50 paces...but you get lots of antioxidants!

OP: I have a book, "You are what you eat" and the author advocates for eating as many blueberries as you can. On the 7 day plan, it recommends eating an entire pint for breakfest some of the days. They are high in fiber, also.

They are delicious, But so darn expensive!

The store bought ones I've had were always large berries and nowhere near as good as ones I've picked. That and they are so expensive, I don't buy them. Wild ones are awesome though. Especially with cereals and such. Rice krispies + picked blueberries + assload of sugar FTW.
