wtf is a pence? thought that was a dude....
A pence is half a tuppence, which is sufficient to buy a bag of bird seed. Or so I heard in that Mary Poppins movie.

I happen to favor the picket fence type of Cognitive Reflection test.

You are building a picket fence with 10 panels. How many posts do you need?

I see that question answered wrong over and over and over again when fixing other people's programming bugs.

21 posts, because the !@#$ panels used downsized lumber that sags in the middle.

I'm still working on the first one. I'm on hold with Parliament. Need to ask them if the ball and bat were inside a sports car subject to the VAT tax. I tried the consulate but they just hung up on me. They probably don't know the answer either.

You people are just not getting it. You're discussing answers as if this was the 1960s and education was important. This is 2017, it's a different world and there are different answers.

1) Bat? Ball? That's sexist and elitist and it's an assault on women, fat boys who get picked last in gym and sensitive men who refuse to participate in the sports military complex. And WTF is that £ symbol? Is that Arabic? Code for an attack? I demand a safe space and I'll sue if subjected to this sort of micro-agression masquerading as a test.

2) Machines making widgets? That's contributing to global warming. How can I answer this kind of question when I know that the Earth is being destroyed by the Industrial capitalist right wing? I demand only organic widgets made by hand in countries that are part of NAFTA so that they can share in our wealth. And I demand questions reflecting that new paradigm.

3) This question is unfair to the inner city test takers who have never seen a lake or lily pads and who therefore have no life experience or frame of reference to be able to conceptualize the problem. And what about kids that couldn't afford summer camp? This class will hold a cry-in until presented with questions that are fair to every student of every race, ethnicity, income group and geographic region. We will not tolerate a lake gap!

No cheating, no Google, no help. Just your brain.
Just 1 question. Like you can handle 3 of them. Don't kid yourself.

The Covfefe Reflection Testes:

1. On Christmas Eve a child, or a reasonable facsimile thereof, (immature ATOTer) left 5 chocolate chip cookies on a plate and a full glass of milk by the tannenbaum. The next morning there were only crumbs left on the plate and just a few drops and a thin film of milk inside the glass. What happened to the cookies and the milk?

Answer
1) A representative from Wall St. ate them.

In question one, there is no such thing as Santa Claus. The few crumbs and drops of milk left are referred to as tickle down economics.
