Well, I bought this Linksys 2-port KVM Switch:
Linksys 2-port KVM Switch
And then I got these Belkin Cables from CompUSA:
Belkin Cable
And I think the KVM Switch is probably just fine, but the cables are probably the weak link. The mouse and keyboard functions seem fine, but I see some noticeable ghosting that I didn't see before on my monitor. Also I'm running my desktop at 1024x768@100hz, and the KVM Switch is rated at 1920x1440@85hz, so I think this should be within spec. The Belkin KVM video cable is MUCH thinner than the one that my monitor (Samsung 900NF) came with.
So if you could recommend a nice set of affordable, but high-quality KVM cables, I'd appreciate it greatly, thanks a lot.
