Voted "Yes and I am not asian", assuming that by asian you mean east or southeast asian.

I can use them, albeit very very slowly. I much prefer good ole forks and spoons. Oh yea, I'm not Asian.

Yes, but I only learned so I could eat sushi properly. For nearly all other applications, the fork is superior.

Where's the option for "Not Asian, can use them, but smart enough not to bother with them.

C'mon folks, we're in the 21st century, it's time to admit that the fork is superior technology.

not necessiarly true.. for "american" meals like steak and chicken obviously, cause you need to cut.. but most chinese dishes are pre-cut into bite sized pieces and therefore easy to pick up and eat in one bite.. i think some people (not me) find "stabbing" your food with a fork crude.. *shrugs* don't ask me why...

i know how.. i remember my dad teaching me when i was young, but i don't remember what age.. but yah, i'm asian, and i know how

Yes, and I'm Chinese. My left hand can't use chopsticks well due to its inability to bend the ring finger toward the palm and the middle finger toward the back of the hand simultaneously.

Yes, both ways. I learned the "traditional" method, holding them far apart in your hand, rather than right next to each other, once I spent time with my wife's family I realized the close together method was much easier on the fingers, and much faster

Chopsticks are the most versatile eating tools ever invented besides the bones of dead babies.
