I've lived in the US for 2 years (San Jose) and I can say that I still prefer my home town of Vancouver

I lived in the states in California for a bit, and I despised it. I'm not even sure why, I just really didn't like the place, there was next to no natural habitat (and although I'm not a tree hugger, it's very nice to have it around) and I myself find the quality of life up north here to be fantastic.

I'm a coonass. I'm from the swamps in Louisiana and Mississippi. No offense to anyone, but I'm not much for this "northern culture" stuff. Indiana is too far north. Besides, I'm American, and the USA is near and dear to my heart. I don't like snow either

It seem you didnt visited Sunshine village and the area in Alberta, over 80% of frend-speaking Quebecers... A god part of the RM are populated by Frenchies who moved just to be able to snowboard 365days/year

BTW, i live in Montreal/Qc and i speak French. I enjoy my country simply because we can ride (mtb bike, of course) all year long on all kind of terrain and the nature is always surrounding us.

Canada is filled with socialists and idiots who refuse to speak English. I don't care what the UN says, Canada isn't the best. If I can call it a country, Hong Kong is the best country in the world (if we ignore the power quotient). My next three choices are the United States, the United Kingdom, and Australia (I consider them all tied for number two). The United States was EASILY the best country in the world until 1933. Reagan had the message and the ideology to make America the best again, but I think he lacked the raw intelligence needed to do so.

EDIT: Here's a good Canadian joke (no, I'm not Canadian, but I doubt that many non-Canadians will get this--maybe some Americans).

Q: Why does Alberta have rats whereas Saskatchewan has Indians (I might've mixed up Alberta and Saskatchewan)?
